Hahahahahaha!!!!!

Hey Americans!

I'd just like to say a great big "THANK YOU" for taking in David and Victoria Beckham. We were thoroughly sick of them and now you will get the chance to see a skeletal, fake breasted obnoxious woman (allegedly) and her husband flounce across your TV stations, Internet and printed media until you are so annoyed you will want to tear out your eyes and clean them with bleach.

Now that DB's there, do you actually care any more about soccer?

But I don't WANT to keep them! Thank God I love on the opposite side of the US from them!!

(Never cared too much for soccer anyway, now I care even less.)

Dammit, "LIVE" not "LOVE"...

Heh... they're already dominating the TV screens.

And it's funny, but since they've moved here, I've been taken by a serious interest in soccer.

Or not. Yes... "not." Definitely.

Soccer? Beckham? Huh?

I don't even have tv yet and I'm sick of 'em. Did they come with a "return policy"? Please. Can we send 'em back?!?!?!?

Honestly though, we have so many bratty over publicized sports figures here, they will blend. We have college football and the antics of the teams and the kids who think they are above the law. We have pro football and the likes of Michael Vick who may or may not have been involved with dog fighting. Pro Basketball with a ref who was gambling on games. Pro baseball that always has something going on with steroids or some other nonsense. The Hockey... will they or won't they play this season?

And each group has their own freaky media person we hear so much about. So I think they'll blend. I do. And America has never cared for soccer... except for Pele. I don't see Beckham changing it... although it certainly could happen. Plenty of our children play. It's views almost as a children's sport. Just nobody watches on TV or pays to go to events... like frickin' NASCAR. ;-) Blech.

Too late, already sick of them.

No changes in the number of soccer games I plan to watch this year :-)
